Louise Owen Driver

Louise Owen Driver , 85, of Meadow Creek Drive, passed away into God’s hands Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Lexington HealthCare after an extended illness. The funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, Feb 20 at Center Hill Baptist Church in Lexington, where she was a lifelong member, by pastors Brian Alexander of Center Hill Baptist Church, Clyde Aykers of Freedom Baptist Church in Lexington, and Mrs. Drivers Grandson Associate Pastor Chas Scott of Calvary Chapel. Mrs. Driver was born September 19, 1922 and was a life long resident of Lexington, NC. She was retired from PPG Industries in Lexington. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Driver, Father and Mother Marvin J. and Lilly Owen, her brother Marvin (Pete) Owen of Lexington, Geneva Lancaster of Mooresville, and Great Grandson Robert Lee Pittman III. Surviving are her six children, Mrs. Barbara Dixon of Trinity, Edward (Eddie) Driver of Wilmington, Donna Melton of Lexington, Pat Rathmell of Lexington, SFC Richard (Ricky) Driver of Pinnacle, NC, and Cynthia (Cyndi) Younts of Lexington,. Mrs. Driver was blessed with 13 Grandchildren, Toni Pittman Ross, Robert Lee Pittman, Kimberly Pittman Hanner, Heather Driver, Heath Driver, Angela Maxwell, Keith Combs, Chas Scott, Amanda Glenn, Renee Driver, Sharon Driver, Christopher Miller, Ashley Miller, all of North Carolina. She leaves cherished memories with 23 Great Grandchildren and seven Great Great Grandchildren. The family would like to get extend a special thank you to Lexington Home Health Care for their Love and Care of our beloved Mother. The family will be receiving guests at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington on Tuesday Feb, 19th at 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
