Lucille Mode Fulbright

December 11, 1943 — February 10, 2012

Ida Lucille Mode Fulbright, 68, of Lou Lane, Lexington died Friday, February 10, 2012 in Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after an illness of one week. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ray Howell III. and Rev. Tommy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of the son on Royal Ashdown Lane Ms. Fulbright was born December 11, 1943 in Cleveland County to Buren Alston “BA” Mode and Zinnie Delphia Hulsey Mode She was a member of First Baptist Church, and was a waitress for Silver Diner. Her work was a service to others and a fulfillment to her life. She was an avid Bowler and enjoyed the Atlanta Braves. Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Albert Mode and a sister, Nancy Mode. Surviving are a son, William Harvey Fulbright, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Lexington; a daughter, Tracy Love and husband, Adam of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Harrison Fulbright, Ethan Fulbright, Ava Leigh Fulbright; three brothers, Bill Mode, Charles Mode and wife, Mary Ann, Robert Mode and Fiance, Barbara all of Lexington; five sisters, Ann Wells and husband, Bill of Escondido, CA, Jean Anthony, Brenda Koonts and husband, Joe, Fredia Phillips and husband, Keith all of Lexington, Linda Prince of Raleigh and several nieces and nephews.
