Lucille Kilby

Lucille Molly Warren Kilby, age 79 of East Holly Grove Rd, Lexington died Saturday, April 25, 2009 in Brook Stone Retirement Center after an extended illness. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 27, 2009 in Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Corienth Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Kilby was born June 12, 1929 in Grayson, VA to Hurst Warren and Artie Riddle Warren. A member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Thomasville, she was retired from Archdale Mfg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Junior Kilby in 1987, Surviving are her sons, David Blevins of Washington, Steve Blevins and wife, Kathy of Ohio, Robert Kilby and wife, Ann of Lexington, NC, daughters, Aleta Rodgers of Ohio, Zera Lee Alley and husband, Boyd of King, NC, Dena Soles of Mouth of Wilson, VA, Gena Cline and husband, Terry Cline, Alice Hedrick and husband, Eddie all of Lexington, 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers, Joe Warren of Elk Creek, VA, Sam Warren of Fox Creek, VA, sister, Elaine Neugent of Elk Creek, VA and a special friend, Roger Roten. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at REINS STURDIVANT FUNERAL HOME in Independence, VA. Davidson Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
