Lucille Walser Kirk, 79, of Lake Drive 8, Lexington, died Sunday at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Bethany United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Ed Armfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 Monday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington and other times at the home of the daughter on Hillview Court in Lexington. Mrs. Kirk was born November 5, 1934 in Davidson County to Homer Howard Walser and Lether Shoaf Walser. Before her retirement, she was employed with Trimfit/Kayby Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Kirk; parents, three brothers, Howard Walser, Larry Walser and Richard Walser and a sister-in-law, Shirley Walser. Surviving is one son, Tony Kirk of High Pont; one daughter, Pam Forrest and husband, Danny, of Lexington; two brothers, Bobby Walser and Wilford Walser, both of Lexington; three sisters, Mazie Troutman and husband, Jack, Carolyn Weaver, and Donna Berrier and husband, Larry, all of Lexington; two grandchildren, Josh Forrest and wife, Heather, and Jamie Aufderhar and husband, Alan, both of Lexington; five great-grandchildren, Jordon Aufderhar, Trace Aufderhar, Emory Forrest, Ethan Forrest and Bella Forrest, all of Lexington; and sister-in-laws, Ruth Walser, Melinda Walser and Sue Walser.
