Lucille Weavil Link

Lucille Weavil Link, age 77, of Arcadia Drive, Lexington passed away Thursday (March 3, 2011) at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday (March 7, 2011) at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Joe D. Coltrane officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday night at Davidson funeral Home, Lexington and at other times at the home.   Lucille was born in Davidson County, January 2, 1934 to Luther Thomas Weavil and Loretta Warren Weavil.  She was a homemaker and a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her parents.   Surviving are; her husband of 60 years, David Link, Sr.; two sons, David Link, Jr. and Bobby Link of Lexington; two granddaughters, Dianna Craver and Kimberly Link; one great-granddaughter, Chyanne Craver; one great-grandson, Hunter Aldridge; two sisters, Ethel Jarvis and Pansy Wooten of Lexington; one brother, Andrew Weavil of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to Second Reformed United Church of Christ, 330 North Church Street, Lexington, NC  27292.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
