Lucille Weaver Williams, age 92 of Carolina House, formerly of West Fifth Street, Lexington passed away early Saturday morning at Carolina House.
A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Fairmont Presbyterian Church with Rev. Randy Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday night.
Lucille was born in Davidson County, December 8, 1920 to Lewis Walter Weaver and Lillie Sowers Weaver. She was a homemaker and former employee of Burlington Industries. She was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church. In 1940 she married Cecil Sanford Williams who preceded her in death in 1977; she was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Myrtle Weaver, Elsie Everhart, Margaret Beck and Mozelle Bean; brothers, J. D. Weaver, Lewis W. Weaver, Jr. and Paul Walter Weaver.
Lucille is survived by her daughters; Cecilia Yarborough (Jerry) and Pam Sink (Larry) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Mark Sink of Kannapolis, Carey Sink of Lexington and David Yarborough (Tracy) of Huntersville; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Lainie Yarborough of Huntersville; many devoted nieces and nephews.
Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, especially to her Carolina House family. Her family would like to thank the entire staff of Carolina House for their love, support and excellent care for the past 3 years.
