Lucille Wilson

Lucille Surratt Wilson, 89, of Brookstone Terrace Assisted Living, Clemmons, formerly of NC Highway 150, Tyro, died Tuesday, February 07, 2012, at Brookstone Terrace. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at Tyro United Methodist Church, where she was an active member, with the Rev. Randy Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was born March 29, 1922, in Davidson County, to Beverly Franklin Surratt and Clara Shirley Surratt. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Tyro until February 2010. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hubert Wilson; brother, Rev. William Ralph Surratt; sisters, Alene Surratt, Zona Floyd and Letha Phillips; and a grandson, Andrew James Wilson. Surviving are son, Jeffrey Wilson and wife, Sherry Wofford Wilson, of Tyro; daughter, Beverly Wilson Khemlani and husband, Sunder I. Khemlani, Sr., of Clemmons; grandson, Adam Scott Wilson and wife, Stacey Wright Wilson, of Tyro; brother, James Wade Surratt of Salisbury; and sister, Geraldine “Geri” McDow of Franklin, NH.
