Lucy Leonard Potts Walser, age 92 of Alston Brook formerly of Lanier Road, Lexington passed away Tuesday night November 10, 2015 at Alston Brook. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday November 13, 2015 at Reeds United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Duncan Martin officiating. The family will receive friends t Davidson Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Thursday and at other times at the home of her son. Mrs. Walser was born in Davidson County July 4, 1923 to Jesse Lee Leonard and Lena Pack Leonard. She was a retired CNA for Golden Age Nursing Home and a member of Reeds United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Herman E. Potts; second husband Cleve Walser and brothers, Paul, Wade and Adam Leonard. Surviving are her son Larry Potts and wife Amy of Lexington; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to Alston Brook Nursing Home, 4748 Old Salisbury Road, Lexington, NC 27295.
