Luis Puente

Luis Puente, 91 of Lexington, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 4 ^th at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point with Deacon  Enedino Equino officiating the service.  Visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Puente was born on July 21, 1929 in Los Encinos Zacatecas, Mexico to Herminio Puente and Elvira Castillo Puente.  He retired from janitorial work at McDonalds and was of the Catholic faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Ines, Juana and Guadalupe Puente and brothers Odon, Horacio, Ignacio, Efrain and Edmundo Puente.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rafaela Nieto Puente, of the home; sons Jose Luis Puente (April) of Madison, Herminio Puente (Gabriela) of High Point, Juan D. Puente (Raquel) of Huddleston, VA; daughter Maria DeLourdes (Miguel Jaramillo) of Dallas, Texas; sisters Costantina Puente, Marina Puente, Herminia Puente, Ofelia Puente; 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
