Mr. Luke Cecil Rhodes, 81, of Silver Hill Road, died Wednesday, October 2 at Hinkle Hospice House after declining health.
A graveside service will be held at 12pm Friday, October 4 at Forest Hill Memorial Park, by Preacher Nathan Brinkley.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30am Friday at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mr. Rhodes was born August 25, 1943 in Davidson County to Luke Warren Rhodes and Nonie Burch Rhodes. He was of the Baptist Faith and spent his career as a plasterer and in construction serving Davidson and surrounding counties. His brother, Richard Mock Rhodes (Vickie), and his daughter-in-law, Julie Daniel Rhodes, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, June Ensley Rhodes of the home; his son, Scott Warren Rhodes (Sherry McBride) of Lexington; his daughter, Kelly Rhodes Segers (Chris) of Pilot Mountain; his grandchildren, Abbie Lanham (Zack), Lucas Rhodes, Richard Segers, and Jacob Segers; his great-granddaughter, Chloe Lanham; his sister, Deborah Rhodes Roark of Benson; his uncles, Norman Burch, Thomas Burch, Marvin Burch, Pete Burch, and Roger Burch; and his nieces and nephew, Renee, Paula, Zack and Misty.
