Lula Leonard Thomason

Lula Leonard Thomason, 88, of Goforth Lake Road, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at Lexington Health Care. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Revs. Dan Walser and Avery Varnadore. Burial will follow in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Thomason was born May 25, 1918, in Davidson County to Doss Leonard and Alice Essick Leonard. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, John Webster Thomason, in February 1967 and a son, Doyle Thomason, in June 2006. Surviving are three sons, Ted Thomason and Steve Thomason, both of the home, and Larry Thomason and his wife, Diane, of Lexington; two daughters, Barbara Little and her husband, Weldon, and Lynn Bost and her husband, Danny, all of Lexington; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home and other times at the home of Weldon and Barbara Little, 652 E.L. Myers Road, Reeds.
