Lulla Grubb, 94, of Lexington, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, September 16, 2021.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington, NC with Brother Kevin Clapp officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday September 21 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.
Lulla Walser Grubb was born March 20, 1927 to William David “WD” Walser and Addie Lenora Berrier Walser. She graduated from Reeds High School as Salutatorian, Class of 1944.
She married Sammie Alfred Grubb December 17, 1949 and was a member of Churchland Baptist Church. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Lulla loved to sew and make things for her home, children and grandchildren. She was always ready and willing to help her husband with anything that needed doing on the farm. She loved to work in her flowers and garden and loved the outdoors.
Lulla was preceded in death by her parents; husband Sammie Alfred Grubb ( November 7, 1998), brother Avery Walser, sister Deedie Evans; daughters-in-law; Angie Grubb and Teresa Grubb.
Surviving are her brother, Jiles Walser and wife Hallene of Lexington; sons, Samuel , Rodney (Kyleen), Alfred Grubb all of Lexington; six grandchildren; Clint (Lindsey), Lenora Layne (Rolf), Shala (Clay), Kasey (Kristin), Katie (Bryan), McKayla (Noah), six great grandchildren; Lincoln, Juliette, Paxton, Stella, Gunner and Everleigh.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to; Churchland Baptist Church, Meals on Wheels, Hospice of Davidson County, or your favorite charity.
