Luther Lee Laws

Luther Lee Laws, 70, of Brown Road in Linwwod, died Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his home.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday September 12, 2018 at First Christian Church in Salisbury with Minister Jonathan Laws officiating services.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the church, and at other times at the home of the daughter, 321 Swicegood Road, Linwood NC 27299.

Mr. Laws was born December 28, 1947 in Swain County to Ralph Lonzo Laws and Gladys Burnett Laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Eulas Laws and Edmond Max Laws.

Surviving is a son, Jonathan Laws (Phyllis) of Lexington; a daughter, Lorie Copley, of Linwood; two brothers, Lesley Laws (Helen) of Salisbury and James Laws (Kate) of Kentucky; four sisters, Brenda Hoskins (Butch) of Florida, Sue Watson of Lexington, Jerlene Simmons (Charles) of Lexington and Debbie Bland (Danny) of Thomasville.
