Luty Evans Alford

Luty Mae Evans Alford, age 65, of Lexington passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her home. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the home with Pastor Bobby Robertson officiating. Mrs. Alford was born in Richmond, VA on October 16, 1950 to Marsh Buddy Evans and Frankie Hodges Ring. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her parents; as well as two brothers, David Evans and Colon Evans. Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Curtis Gene Alford of the home; her stepfather, Artie Ring of the home; one son, Charles Andrew Tester Jr. (Susan) of SC; two daughters, Brenda K. Tester (Harold Sinclair) of SC, and Jessica Alford of the home; one brother, Ken Evans (Debbie) of Lexington, NC; two sisters, Brenda Evans of Lexington, NC, and Frankie Goodman (Kenny) of Landis, NC; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
