Lynda Faye Hedrick

Lynda Faye Hedrick, 82, of Lexington, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Lynda was born July 16, 1943, in Davidson County to the late Jack Hedrick and Maggie Tysinger Hedrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Hedrick, Maxine Hedrick, Carolyn Colson, Ila Mae Harris, and Betty Hedrick.

She is survived by her son, Derick Scott Hedrick (Kathy Lowery); daughter, Kendra Hedrick (Charles Shawn); brothers, Donald Hedrick, Bobby Hedrick (Nell), and Jackie Hedrick (Darlene); and sisters, Ruth Beanblossom, Louise Owen, and Sandra Sargent (Charles); grandchildren, Luke, Cole, Magan, Dylan, Haven, Hunter, Miranda, Tiffany and Sarah and 12 great grandchildren; a special niece Susie Smith and Lynda's best friend Billie Fowler.
