Lynda Jones Leonard

Lynda Jones Leonard, 73, of Peachtree St., Lexington passed away on Friday, June23, 2017 in Brian Center Nursing Home.    A Service will be held at a later date.   Mrs. Leonard was born July 19, 1943 in Wake County to Thomas Melvin Jones and Caroline Tesh Jones.  She was of the Lutheran faith.  Her father preceded her in death as well as her sisters; Judy Errington and Ruthie Severance   Surviving are two sons, Mark Leonard (Stephanie), Chris Leonard (Tina) both of Lexington; a daughter, Nikki Pawley of Lexington; Mother, Caroline Tesh Jones of Lexington; 8 grandchildren, Whitney Taylor, Alex Leonard, Noah Leonard, Christina Putnam, Dahlen Leonard, Lyndi Leonard, Corbin Pawley, Kaylee Pawley; 5 great grandchildren, and a sister Becky Lanier of Lexington.
