Lynn Nolan Alderman Sr.

Lynn Nolan Alderman Sr. 85 passed away Thursday October 3, 2024, at his home. A celebration of life will be 3:00 pm Saturday October 12, 2024, at Mt. Olivet UMC Church conducted by Pastor Rick LeBaube. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium. The family will see friends from 2-3 prior at the church

Mr. Alderman was born April 8, 1939, in Floyd Virginia to the late Silas and Gracie Bolt Alderman. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway-. His wife of 66 years, Neva Morgan Alderman preceded him in death in January 2023. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his daughter, Dee Armour (Bill) of Winston Salem. His sons: Sonny Alderman (Stacy) of Advance and Scott Alderman (Kim) of Clemmons. Four grandchildren, Lyndsey, Ryan, Brett and Taylor Alderman and a great grandson, Owen Alderman.
