Lynn Bowman

Lynn Burleson Bowman, passed away peacefully at her home in Davidson County, North Carolina, on November 27, 2023. Lynn was born on December 27, 1956, to Wade Daniel and Mildred Elizabeth Starnes Burleson in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

A funeral service to honor her memory will be held at Davidson Funeral Home in Winston-Salem on Friday, December 1, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM before the service.

Lynn was a devoted member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints and had a fulfilling career as a shift leader at Owens-Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, and she is survived by her loving daughters, Candace Carvallo (Raul) of Lexington and Ashley Nicole Bowman of Lexington.

Lynn is also survived by her brothers Barry Burleson (Cindy) of Linwood, Joe Burleson of Lexington, and sisters Janie Miller (Jeff) of Thomasville and Martha Hill of Lexington. Lynn will be fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren: Nicolas Bowman, Sarah Walters, Aidan Walters, Kiersten Thrift, Cameron Thrift, Enzo Carvallo, and Penelope Drager.

Her warm spirit, dedication to family, and contributions to her community will be dearly missed.
