Lynn Sink, 76, of Davidson County, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
A graveside service will take place Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ray Morgan officiating.
Lynn was born on October 1, 1947, in Davidson County, to the late Brady Holton Warner and Clara Norene Berrier Warner. She was a graduate of North Davidson High School and went on to work for Thomasville Furniture for over 40 years. Lynn enjoyed gardening and getting her hands dirty, working in the flower beds to nurture her flowers and plants.
She loved scrapbooking, creating cookbooks, making her own greeting cards, and was wonderful with creative ways to make photo albums. One of her greatest joys in life was animals. Lynn loved her fur-babies and always had pets.
Her biggest love, however, was that for her family. Lynn and her husband, Steven, spent 59 years of marriage together. The love they shared for one another was matched only by the love and devotion she had for her daughter and granddaughter.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Brady Holton Warner Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Steven Sink, of the home; daughter Sheryl Atwell (Ian), of Lexington; granddaughter, Taylor Williams (Cameron), of Lexington; sister, Carla Sue Robbins, of Winston-Salem; sister-in-law, Carol Warner; nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Life Center of Davidson County (601 W Center St, Lexington, NC 27292), Hinkle Hospice House (200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292), or the Alzheimer’s Association ( alz.org ).
