M. Allen Pickett, Jr.

Mack Allen Pickett, Jr., of Lexington, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on August 4, 1953, in Davidson County, Allen was the beloved son of the late Mack Allen Pickett, Sr. and Opal Elliott Pickett.

A funeral service to honor Allen’s life will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 30, 2024, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with the Rev. Steve Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Denton Town Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington on Thursday from 6 pm until 8 pm.

A well-respected Certified Public Accountant, Allen was the proud owner and operator of M. Allen Pickett, Jr. CPA, PA in Lexington. His dedication to his profession and his clients earned him a reputation for excellence and integrity throughout the community. Beyond his professional life, Allen was passionate about collecting vintage Rolex watches and was an active member of the Porsche Club of America - Carolina's Region, where he shared his love for fine automobiles with fellow enthusiasts.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his sister, Gwen Maness.

He is survived by his loving fiancée, Rose Cervini; her children, Joseph and Alexa Schoendorf; and her granddaughter, Kehlani Rose Baylor, all of whom he cherished as his own. Allen's memory will also be treasured by his sister, Emilie Parvin; his niece, Dana M. Jones (Tim) and their son Mason; his nephew, Brett Parvin (Amber) and his children, Bryce and Blake; and his brother-in-law, Dan Maness.

Allen will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments and passions but also for the love and kindness he extended to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
