Mabel Lovelace Carter

Mabel Lovelace Carter 94 of Mitchell Avenue, Lexington formerly of Cramerton, passed away Thursday April 14, 2011 at Hinkle Hospice Home. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 4 to 6 pm. Burial will be at a later date in Gaston Memorial Park. Mrs. Carter was born April 7, 1917 in Wake County, to James G. Lovelace and Alice Brannon Lovelace. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Cramerton. Surviving are a daughter Patricia Kennedy and husband, Lacy, of Lexington; and a nephew, Jerry Brendle also of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292. The Family would like to thank the staff of Hospice for the many kindnesses shown to Mrs. Carter and her family.
