Mabel Kepley

October 5, 1916 — February 11, 2006

Mrs. Mabel Motsinger Kepley, 89 formerly of Craver Road, Lexington died Saturday, February 11. Mrs. Kepley was born October 5, 1916 in Davidson County to J.Clay Motsinger, Sr. and Maggie Emma Beck Motsinger. She was preceded in death by her first husband Elmer D Hinkle and her second husband Hubert Austin Kepley and an infant son, Wayne Hinkle. Brothers, J. Clay Motsinger and Connie Motsinger and sisters, Lillian Hedrick and Ruth Hawks also preceded her in death. She retired from Hanes Hoisery. She is survived by a daughter, Martha Laine White of Winston-Salem, a step-son, Billy Joe Kepley of Welcome and sisters, Marie Wilson of Lexington and Evelyn Dorsett of High Point. A grandaugher Brandi Newman, a great grandaughter Nox Newmand. Five step grandchildren, Chad Kepley, Shane Kepley, Wyatt Kepley and Lisha Kepley Craven and three step great grandchildren, Aaron, Garret,and Mycah Kepley. There are numerous nieces and nephews and a loyal friend, Ozell Dellinger. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Center Unted Methodist Church with Rev. Clay Morgan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel.
