Mabel Miller Mabry

January 9, 1921 — December 30, 2015

Mabel Miller Mabry, age 94 of Alston Brook formerly of Jersey Church Road, Lexington, NC passed away Wednesday morning December 30, 2015 at Alston Brook. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Center Hill Baptist Church where she was a member with Revs. Brian Alexander and Lamar Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday night. Mabel was born in Davidson County January 9, 1921 to Hugh Lindsay and Emma Owen Miller. She was a retired employee of Burlington Furniture. At Center Hill she served as Sunday school teacher, church secretary and a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Clinton Mabry; sister, Ruth Fritts and a brother Fred Miller. Surviving are her sons, Allen Mabry and wife Pamela, Frank Mabry and wife Kathy all of Lexington; grandchildren, Lauren Mabry, Kim Nanney (Scott), Tracey Whitley (Brad) all of Lexington and Emily Mabry of Surf City; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Kyle Nanney, Mabry Harrison, Megan and Andrew Whitley, Ryder and Chase Farrell; sister, Mary Hunter Johnson of Lexington. The family would like to thank the staff of Alston Brook for their love and support given to our mother.
