Mable Mize Tussey

 Mabel Mize Tussey, age 82, of E. Tenth Ave. Ext., passed away early Thursday morning in Forsyth Medical Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday (12-29-2008) at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating.  Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery.   Mabel was born in Davidson County, May 18, 1926 to Lee Mize and Viola Younts Mize. She was a retired employee of Kayby Mills, a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil Richard Tussey, January 3, 1988 and a brother Floyd Eugene Mize.   Surviving are: Son, Richard Tussey and wife Kimberly of Lexington; one grandson, Cecil Aron Tussey; one sister, Mae Goss of Lexington and sister in law, Norene Mize of Welcome.   The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 until 7 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and at the home on 10th Avenue Ext. following the service on Monday.   Memorials may be directed to Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, 210 Cotton Grove Road, Lexington, NC  27292   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
