Mac Mclamb

Mr. Dorcas (Mac) McLamb, age 95 of Fairview Dr, Lexington, NC, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Lexington Health Care. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the National Cemetery in Salisbury. Mr. McLamb was born December 16, 1915 in Sampson County to Roger S. McLamb and Fleda Warren McLamb. He was a retired bookkeeper with American Tobacco Company and was a member of First Baptist Church in Kinston. He served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He was married to Dixie Marshburn McLamb, who died October 14, 2009. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Sanders and husband, Michael, of Lexington; his grandchildren, Nathan Sanders and wife, Amanda, of Raleigh, Noah Sanders and wife, Carrie, of Burlington, and Lydia Sanders of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Sanders and Sadie Sanders, both of Burlington.
