Machiko Hiraiwa Langworthy

Machiko Hiraiwa Langworthy, age 86 of Lexington passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Machiko was born on January 26, 1933 in Nagoya, Japan to Jinkichi Hiraiwa and Tokie Oguri Hiraiwa. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Homer Langworthy of the home; daughter, Carolyn Parker (Bill) of Lexington; sons, Gregory Stanford (Donna) of Greensboro and Richard Stanford (Kari Hamel) of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Seiji Stanford, Ren Stanford and Kai Stanford all of Chapel Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292.
