Mack Eller, Jr.

Mack Eller, Jr., age 79 of Thomasville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Roy Cantrell and Pastor NJ Rich officiating the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will see friends from 4 to 6pm Tuesday, January 2nd at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.

Mack was born in Davidson County on August 10, 1944, to Mack Eller, Sr., and Dorothy Bean Eller. He served as a Ranger in the United States Army and US Honor Guard and later retired as a lineman with Davidson EMC. Mack attended Cedar Lodge Baptist Church and enjoyed working in the garden and hunting.  He enjoyed being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lee Eller and sister Jean Woodall.

Surviving is his loving wife, Bonnie Lucille Myers Eller, of the home; daughter, Anna Hinkle (Eric) of Thomasville and two grandchildren, Emma, and Maddie Hinkle, also nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Father’s Storehouse Ministries, 609 National Highway, Thomasville, NC 27360, and Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
