Mack Shoaf

December 22, 1935 — March 10, 2019

Norman Mack Shoaf, 83, of Norman Shoaf Road, died peacefully at home on Monday, March 11.   A funeral service will be held at 3pm Saturday, March 16 at Faith Church of Midway, by the Rev. Michael Gates.  Burial will follow at Beulah United Church of Christ Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Saturday at the church prior to the funeral service.   Mr. Shoaf was born December 22, 1935 in Davidson County to Norman Olin Shoaf and Edith Walser Shoaf.  Mack had a life full of service to his community, including board positions with Jaycees and Davidson County Board of Adjustments to name a few.  He took great pride in serving on the Board of Directors of EnergyUnited for over 40 years. Though Mack’s life was filled with accomplishments, what he valued most was simply his family and farming.      He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Hanes Shoaf; his son, Mack Todd Shoaf and wife, Rosa, of Midway; his daughter, Elizabeth (Sissy) Shoaf White and husband, Lindley also of Midway;  and his grandchildren, Dania Sofia Shoaf and Loucas Todd Shoaf.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292
