Madalene Victoria Cope Ribelin

Magdalene Victoria Cope Ribelin, 81 of Brian Center Nursing Home, Lexington, died Thursday at Lexington Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Clyde Akers and Rev. David Shaffer. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Ribelin was born May 28, 1924 in Davidson County to Eddie Daniel Cope and Ollie Shoaf Cope Conner. She was retired from Dixie Furniture and was a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church. Her husband, Irvin E. Ribelin, a brother, Elmer Cope, and a sister, Willie Mae Bean preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons; Eddie Ribelin, Everette Ribelin both of Lexington and Benny Franklin Ribelin of Rock Hill, SC; her grandchildren: Tabby Hutchins, Woody Ribelin, Kevin Ribelin, Tiffany Hodges, Mark Ribelin, Wendy Thompson and Russell Ribelin; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and her brothers, Jessie Conner and Jack Conner, both of Lexington. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME in Lexington. Memorials may be directed to Coggins Memorial Baptist Church Bluilding Fund, 1306 S. Main St., Lexington, NC 27292
