Madison Farruggia

April 22, 2004 — October 28, 2021

Ellie “Madison” Farruggia, 17, a resident of Lexington, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at her residence.

“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day”. Madison had a sweet spirit. She genuinely loved and cared for others. She was an active member of her church and youth group. She sang on her youth praise team. She loved hanging out with her friends, eating and weekly sometimes daily trips to Walmart. She was a very talented singer and artist. If you were ever privileged to see her artwork you would agree. She loved her cat, Diana, who brought her so much love and comfort. Madison was blessed to work at the Humble Plate as a waitress. It gave her so much purpose in life. She was blessed by the owners and her regulars; they will never know what they meant to her. Madison was loved by all her siblings. She had a unique and special relationship with each one of them. They are going to miss her so very much. Madison was so loved by so many people; we only wish she could have seen that. She suffered from a mental illness that she fought so hard to overcome. However, in the end, she wins. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus. The one she loved with all her heart.

Madison was preceded in death by Jerry Lee Thomas (JT), who was a very special man in Madison’s life.
