Madison Eli Foltz

Madison Eli Foltz, 87 of Lexington passed away Thursday afternoon December 7, 2017 at his home.   A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday December 10, 2017 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church where he was a member conducted by Rev. Egbert Craven and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:30 pm prior to the service and at other times they will be at the home of his son on Mt Olivet Church Road.   Mr. Foltz was born April 25, 1930 in Forsyth County to Clyde Clifford Foltz and Lillian Lambeth Foltz. He was retired from Western Electric. At his church he served in many capacities, including  a Sunday school teacher, usher and deacon    His parents, brother, Joe Lewis Foltz and a sister, Ruby Mae Hartman all preceded him in death.   Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Alice Swink Foltz of the home. A son, David Madison Foltz and his wife Donna Conklin Foltz  of Clemmons. Two grandsons, Matthew Madison Foltz and Nicholas Bryan Foltz both of Lexington. A sister in law, Mary Foltz of Clemmons.   Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 285.
