Mamie Elizabeth Adams

Mamie Elizabeth Bauguess Adams, 66, of Davidson County, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Mamie was born on June 1, 1956, in Surry County, to Mr. William Bauguess and Marjorie Bauguess.

She spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring for her family whom she loved dearly. She is remembered for loving to knit and crochet, as it used to be one of her favorite pastimes. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lycretia Arnett and husband Chris of Lexington, and Amy Slagle of AR; brother, John Wayne Edmonds and wife Mildred of Lexington; grandchildren, Aryanna, Sarina, Van, Veroniqa, Oliva, Olana, Ryder; and great grandchildren, Nieko and Maiya.

I n lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Foundation of the Blind or to the American Diabetes Association.
