Margaret Darlene "Bug" Bowers

Margaret Darlene “Bug” Cline Bowers, 47 of Foothill Dr. Lexington, died Sunday November 25, 2007 at 3:30 AM in Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro after declining health of 18 months. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Doug McGee and Rev. David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bowers was born in Rowan County on November 16, 1960 to James Riley Cline and Frances Ludwick Cline. She was employed with Davidson County School System and attended Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Odell Bowers and a stepdaughter, Christy Dawn Bowers. Surviving are her husband, Willard Odell Bowers of the home; Mendy Jo Bowers Stoves and husband Brandon of Lexington; brothers, Billy Cline; Tommy Cline and wife Melissa; Jimmy Cline all of Salisbury; Roy Myers and wife Linda of Anderson, SC and B. T. Myers of Richfield, NC; sisters, Ann Koontz and husband Roy and Sue Isenhour and husband Scott all of Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington and at other times at the home on 332 Foothill Drive.
