Margaret Ann Carrico

Margaret Ann Carrico, age 85, passed away on November 15, 2023. She was born on May 13, 1938, to William and Nannie Carrico.

Margaret dedicated her professional life to Pearle Vision, where she worked as an Optical Assistant. Her commitment and passion for her work left a lasting impact on those around her.

A woman of strong faith, Margaret was a proud member of the Baptist community. She found joy in her religious convictions and shared that joy with others.

Outside of her professional and religious pursuits, Margaret had a love for working on puzzles, a hobby that brought her both relaxation and satisfaction. She was also an active member of The Red Hat Society, where she formed lasting friendships and enjoyed memorable moments.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, William and Nannie Carrico, her daughter Kim Bourne Yontz, brothers William Carrico, Jr., and Wiley Carrico, as well as sisters Mary Moody and Scottie Coble.

She is survived by her brother Roger Carrico, sister Lelia Stutts, son-in-law Duane Yontz, the love of her life Konner Yontz, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held on November 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, with Pastor Lomax Skinner officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winston-Salem.
