Margaret Harb Carroll

Margaret Lee Harb Carroll, age 98, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at her home. A graveside service will be 2pm, Wednesday, January 11 ^th at Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel conducted by Rev. Jerry Lubarsky. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at their respective homes.

Mrs. Carroll was born June 5, 1924, in Davidson County to Fareed Joseph Harb and Catherine Mae Carter Harb. She retired from Lexington Furniture and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to work in her yard and playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Carroll a daughter, Shelia Allen, a son in law, Ned Carter and 10 brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a daughter, Carroll Carter, of Lexington; her sons, Randy Whitman (Lisa) and Jerry Whitman (Cindy), all of Lexington. Also surviving are 6 generations: 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
