Margaret Durga

Margaret Alyce Weise Durga, 82, of Embler Road, died Monday, July 10, 2006, at Thomasville Medical Center. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Doug Hochmuth. Mrs. Durga was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Los Angeles County to Walter Edwin Weise and Agnes MacDonald Weise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bradford Durga Sr. Surviving are her son, Lawrence Bradford "Brad" Durga Jr. and his wife, Laverne, of California; two daughters, Jan Watkins and her husband, Jim, of Lexington and Jenny Christine Pair and her husband, Timothy, of California; three grandchildren, Amy Coltrane and her husband, Terry, of Trinity, Melissa West and her husband, Steve, of Welcome and Keith Watkins and his wife, Dee, of Lexington; and five great-grandchildren, Terry "Bubba" Coltrane Jr. of Trinity, Keegan Watkins and Briar Watkins, both of Lexington, and Emma-Kate West and Alyssa West, both of Welcome. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of the daughter on Embler Road.
