Margaret Yvonne "Evon" Byerly Everhardt, 68, of Lexington, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Hinkle Hospice House after an illness of four months.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home by Dr. Lowell H. Swisher. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Due to Mr. Everhardt's recent stay in the hospital, the family will only receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday.
Mrs. Everhardt was born on Oct. 22, 1941, in Davidson County to William Byerly and Margaret Jeanet Styers Byerly. She attended Churchland High School and was co-owner of Davidson Office Equipment for 23 years.
Surviving are her husband, Jimmy Lowell Everhardt of the home; son Randy Everhardt and wife Luann of Lexington; daughter Trina Cunningham and husband Richard of Lexington; five grandchildren, Mandy Bogdanoff and husband Aron of Concord, Anderson Everhardt and wife Danisha of Greensboro, Cambridge Cunningham, Chandler Cunningham and Alexandra Cunningham, all of Lexington; great-grandchildren Hailey Bogdanoff of Concord and Carson Koone, Jaxon Everhardt and Lily Everhardt, all of Greensboro; brother Greer Clark Byerly and wife Aundry of Linwood; sisters Willie Ruth Pless of Lexington and Linda Joyce Rogers and husband Paul of China Grove; and special nieces and nephews.
