Margaret Earl Gonzalez

Margaret Ann Earl Gonzalez, 56, of Carolyn Lane, Linwood, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital after several years of declining health. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Wayne Sechrest. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Gonzalez was born Oct. 12, 1949, in Cherokee County to Charlie Earl Jr. and Margaret Rollins Earl. She was a member of Rolling Heights Baptist Church and a clerk in a convenience store. She was proceeded in death by her father, Charlie Earl Jr. Surviving are her husband, Genaro Cordova Gonzalez of the home; one son, Michael Gonzalez of the home; her mother, Margaret Rollins Earl Crotts of Lexington; two sisters, Sandra Wilson and Terri Drake, both of Lexington; three nephews, Perry Owens and his wife, Markie, and their son, Nichlas, Chris Drake and his wife, Kim, and their children, Brandon, Christopher and Brittany, and Charles Drake and his wife, Brandy, and their children, Seth and Sara Beth; and one niece, Shelly Hodges and her husband, Scott. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
