Margaret Morrow Hege

Margaret (Marge) Diane Morrow Hege age 79 of Lexington passed away Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Monday at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.  Military Rites by Davidson County Honor Guard. Entombment will follow. The family will see friends from 11 am until 12 noon Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and at other times at the home.

Mrs. Hege was born August 28, 1942, in Baltimore County, Maryland to Leo Morrow and Emily Lorraine Taylor Morrow. She loved her animals and also cared for foster children. She served her country in The US Army, serving as a nurse. Her parents and a son, Elmer Roy Turner, all preceded her in death. Her favorite pastimes were spent traveling, playing bingo, fishing, and cooking many delicious meals.

Surviving are her husband, Jim Hege of the home. Daughters: Teresa Lynn Pope of Maryland, Dawn Marie Landry (Frank) of W. Virginia and Danielle Denise Harrison (Garland) of Maryland. Sons: Jim Woodard of Maryland and Robert William Turner (Debbie) of Kentucky. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren and her brother William Lee Morrow of Delaware.
