Margaret Irene Jarrett, 81, of Longview Road, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Brian Center of Lexington.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Pilgrim Reformed Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. William Sowers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her nephew on Old Highway 64.
Miss. Jarrett was born August 6, 1930, in Davidson County, to Lacie Kinney Jarrett and Mary Fritts Jarrett. She was a wonderful lady who had a special place in her heart for her cats and birds.
Surviving are her sister, Lucille J. Beck of Lexington; nephews, Richard G. Beck and wife, Robin and Jeffrey K. Beck and wife, Janet, all of Lexington, and Kevin R. Beck and wife, Susan, of Thomasville; niece, Mary Kathryn Thomason and husband, Jimmy; great-nephews, Jeremy G. Beck and wife, Tracy, Justin R. Beck and wife, Melissa, and Colton Beck, all of Lexington; great-niece, Heather B. Warner and husband, Billy, of Lexington; and several loving great-great-nieces and nephews.
