Margaret Harding King, 68, a loving wife, mother and grandmother of Old Hwy 52, Winston Salem, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday June 29, 2007 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Midway United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. John Woods, Rev. Robin Fitzgerald and Rev. Bob Whitaker and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was born November 2, 1938 in Midway to Ulys B. and Pearl Perryman Harding. Mrs. King was a fifth generation to be buried at Midway United Methodist Church where she was a lifetime member. She was an Accountant and avid genealogist. Her family will forever be blessed by the example exhibited as she lived her life for her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her parents, two sisters, Annie Jo Harding Motsinger and Willa Jo Harding Harsey, preceded her in death. On January 20, 1959 she married her beloved husband, Walter Loid King who died December 16, 2002.
Survivors include her loving daughter, April Dawn Caroline King Vaughn and her much loved son-in-law, Christopher Vaughn of Lexington and two precious grandchildren, Eric Loid Vaughn and Brittney Megan Caroline Vaughn both of Lexington.
The family would like to thank Dr. Zekon and Holly and all the staff at Healthcare. The family would also like to thank the staff at Kate B. Reynolds for the love and kindness shown to the family during her illness.
