Margaret (Paige) Beck Nance

Margaret Paige Beck Nance, age 89 of Mt. Vista Health Park, Denton, formerly of Thurman Beck Road, Lexington passed away Sunday night (October 25, 2009) at Mt. Vista. Funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday (October 28, 2009) in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarence Sifford officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.   Margaret was born in Davidson County, December 14, 1919 to Thurman Cleveland Beck and Minnie Foust Beck.  She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church and a retired employee of Lank of Lexington.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garland Elston Nance in 2001; and one son Bruce Nance, grandson, Scott W. Nance; four sisters, Martha Frank, Helen Plummer, Goldie Hedrick and Treva Hedrick; five brothers, Hoy Beck, Darland Beck, Fred Beck, Clyde Beck and George Beck.   Surviving are: two sons, Ronnie Nance and wife Judy of Lexington and Gene Nance and wife Beverly of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law, Janet Nance of Lexington. six grandchildren, Tim Nance, Brian Nance, Alex Nance, Sr. Eric Nance, Steve Nance and Sharon Nance; and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Gallimore and husband David of Denton and Sadie Peacock of Lexington; two brothers, Dermont Beck and wife Gladys and Wayne Beck and wife Mary Sue all of Lexington;   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of her son Ronnie Nance, 5032 East Old Highway 64, Lexington.   Memorials should be directed to Davidson County Cancer Services, 25 West Six Avenue, Lexington, NC  27292 or to Alzheimers Association, Piedmont Triad/NC Chapter, 1315 Ashleybrook Lane, Winston Salem, NC  27103.     Online condolences may be made at http://www.davidsonfuneralhome.net/
