Margaret Penninger Younts

Margaret Penninger Younts, 84, of East Holly Grove Road, died Monday, December 23, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Bishop Floyd D. Vaught officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013, at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son. Mrs. Younts was born July 3, 1929, in Davidson County, to Jeff and Clara Penninger. She was retired from J&S Trucking and a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Woody; brothers, Forest Penninger and Homer Penninger; and a sister, Edith Everhart. Surviving are son, Alan Younts and wife Vivian of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
