Margie Ruth Lee Myers

Margie Ruth Lee Myers, 65, of Marion Circle, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Thomasville Medical Center. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mrs. Myers was born June 3, 1947, in Mecklenburg County, to John Luther Lee and Mabel Shelton Lee. She was a retired machine operator from Duracell and a member of Amity Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Sammy Lee, W.D. Lee and Johnny Lee; and sisters, Agnes Malone, Mamie Dellinger, Annie Wilson and Minnie Kiger. Surviving are her loving husband, Junior Myers, of the home; daughters, Sherry Miller and Tina Brogdon and husband, Benny, both of Lexington; grandchildren, Kelly Hunt and husband, Jeremy, Mandy Miller, Kimberly Miller, Bryan Parks and Justin Parks; and great-grandchildren, Zecobi Fire and Chancelor Hunt.
