Margie Ann Weatherman

Margie Weatherman, age 69 of Rockcrusher Road, Lexington formerly of Tobaccoville, NC passed away Tuesday night (Nov. 3, 2009) at Brian Center of Lexington.  Funeral service will be held  11:00 am Friday (Nov. 6, 2009) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Craig Barnhill officiating. Burial will be 3:00 pm Friday at Stony Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkes County with Rev. Chad Hendren officiating   Margie was born in Wilkes County, May 9, 1940 to Everette Claude Beshears and Doris Powell Beshears. She attended school at Robert B. Glenn High School and later college at Forsyth Techinal. She was a former employee of Pilot Freight Carriers and was a retired secretary for K & W Cafeteria Corporate Office.  She attended Unity Baptist Church for 32 years, where she taught Sunday School for the Beginners Class and the Senior Adults. She is presently a member of First Baptist Church in Stanleyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 25 month old son, James Martin Gwynn in 1964, and brother Rex Beshears.   Surviving are: husband of 34 years, J.D. Weatherman of the Tobaccoville; one daughter, Teresa Caraway and husband David of Lexington; two very precious grandchildren, Jonathan R. Harding, Sr. and Amber Harding Barber and three great-grandchildren; Shawn, Jonathan, Jr. and Shane, Jr.; one sister, Dottie Bodenhamer of Davidson County; two brothers; Roger and Dewey Beshears both of Winston Salem; several nieces and nephews.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington Thursday night from 7:00 until 8:00 pm.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
