Maria Ramirez Degaleas

Maria Ramirez DeGaleas 84 of Clemmons passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22nd at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Sonny Flowers officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Maria was born on August 8, 1928 in El Salvador to Santos and Josefina Escobar Ramirez. She was a homemaker and attended River Oaks Community Church. Her parents, husband Tomas Galeas and a son Tomas Galeas preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Jose Mauricio Galeas and wife Esperanza of Clemmons; one daughter, Ana Miriam Cabrera and husband Efrain of Clemmons; a brother Chema Ramirez of El Salvador and a sister Rosa Ramirez of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree is assisting the family.
