Marie Hoy Bush

Marie Elaine Hoy Bush, 73, of  Lexington, passed away Saturday September 28, 2019 at the Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday October 1, 2019 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Keith Carroll.  Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bush was born April 19, 1946 in Mercer County, New Jersey to Chris Hoy and Lelia Mae Housel Hoy Willis. She was retired from Dixie Furniture.  Her parents, her husband, Stanley Linwood Bush, two brothers, Charles Willis and Chris Hoy; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Hoy Krosez and Della Apgar, preceded her in death.

Surviving are her sons, Sam Bush (Tammy) of Lexington, and Mike Bush (Dawn) of Thomasville; her daughter, Sherry Rowe (Ron) of Virginia; her brothers, Robert Hoy (Helen) of Southmont amd George Willis (Rita) of Lexington; her sister, Mary McDede (Glen) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Gavin Rowe ( Sara), Hunter Rowe and Colby Bush.
