Marie Mcpeak

Bonnie Marie McPeak, 76, of Foy Avenue, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at her home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member, by the Revs. James Masser, Clarence Ballew and Doug McGee. Burial will follow in Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. McPeak was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Pulaski, Va., to Charles Jefferson Jenkins and Sylvia Moncus Jenkins. She was married to William "Bill" Edward McPeak. She was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford "Sonny" Jenkins; one sister, Jessie Jenkins Roseberry; her husband; and her parents. Surviving are two sons, Joe McPeak and Monty McPeak, both of Lexington; three daughters, Joyce McPeak Jones and her husband, John, of Hiddenite, Connie McPeak Hege and her husband, Troy, of Welcome, and Billie Jean McPeak Mefford and her husband, Quinc, of Worthville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles "Bill" Jenkins Jr. of Lexington; and two sisters, Edith Torrence Cox of Clemmons and Ruby Jenkins Kimbrell of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the residence
