Marie Moretz

N. Marie Tysinger Moretz, age 76 of Linwood Southmont Rd., Lexington died Friday in Hinkle Hospice House after several years of declining health. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Cotton Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Armfield, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home. Mrs. Moretz was born June 28, 1934 in Davidson County to Mozelle Tysinger and Etta Hedrick Tysinger. She retired from Link Taylor Furniture after 33 years of service and was a member of Cotton Grove United Methodist Church. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Foundation Sunday School Class and many programming ministries of the church. Preceding her in death was her parents, a brother, Henry Tysinger, and a half-sister, Juanita Snider. Surviving are her husband, Roby Earl Moretz of the home; a son, Rodney Dale Moretz of Lexington, two grandchildren, Heather Moretz, Tyler Moretz and one great grandchild, Luke Moretz; four brothers, Darnell Tysinger, Pete Tysinger, Carroll Tysinger, Ronnie Tysinger all of Lexington; two sisters, Judy Motes, Mildred Leonard both of Lexington.
