Marilee Cruse Harb

Marilee Cruse Harb, 88 of Carolina House, Lexington died Tuesday September 4, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, NC after an extended illness. A funeral service will be Thursday September 6, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will be in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 at Davidson Funeral Home prior to the service. Mrs. Harb was born in Rowan County on November 5, 1923 to Collie Lee Cruse and Mary Maude Poston Cruse. She was owner and operator of Marilee’s Beauty Shop and a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Harb was presented a Public Service Award for volunteering from Governor Jim Hunt. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband Mitchell Abraham Harb of the home, son Mitchell Joseph Harb, Sr., daughter Marilee Priscilla Harb and Gene Sink all of Lexington, grandchildren Michelle Moore and husband Derrick, Scott Hedrick, Mitchell Joseph Harb, Jr. and wife Lisa, Tammi Britt and husband Jeff, great grandchildren Brooke Peeler and husband Josh, Brett Moore, Hunter Britt and Madison Britt and two great great grandchildren, Pressley Peeler and Kaleb Peeler.
